Health & Safety Policy Statement
The Jameson Group believes that one of its most important functions is the prevention of accidents and ill health within its workforce, and any other persons which may be affected due to our activities and work processes. To enable the Jameson Group to achieve this we intend to comply with all relevant Health & Safety Regulations and Approved Code Practices at all times.

The Jameson Group main objective with Health & Safety is not merely comply with any Health & Safety Regulations and Approved Code of Practices but to surpass them (as far is reasonable practicable) This is evident within the Jameson Group as all procedures are documented in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and Safe-T-Cert standards.

The management throughout The Jameson Group understand that as an employer we have a duty to prepare a written statement of the Health & Safety Policy relating to The Jameson Groups Activities. This policy is available to every employee of The Jameson Group and is communicated to all employees and other 'interested parties'.

The Jameson Group will continue to ensure that (as far as is reasonably practicable) that we conduct our work so that it does not affect the Health & Safety of those who are not employees of The Jameson Group.

This will be achieved through The Jameson Group Safe Systems of Work; along with these systems all of The Jameson Groups employees have adequate training and supervision. All employees also have access to relevant information regarding the work they shall be conducting, all plant and equipment is safe to use, and employees have adequate welfare facilities.

The Jameson Groups success in Health & Safety has not only been achieved through the knowledge of the senior management but also through the knowledge of the employees. This is why The Jameson Group consults their employees with regards to Health & Safety matters.

However, I must remind you, our employees, sub-contractors and 'interested parties' of your duties to look after the Health & Safety of yourself and your colleagues, ensuring that you do not endanger others through your own acts or omissions.

To conclude The Jameson Group is committed to continual improvement in regards to its Health & Safety performance across each individual company and have set objectives to be reached on an annual basis. Therefore I am confident that with the co-operation of the management, employees and other 'interested parties' The Jameson Group can continue to improve with their Health & Safety.
